You have a lot of options when it comes to choosing a web design company. There are things you need to know up front to make the most educated decision. Don’t see your question? Fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page and we’ll be glad to answer it.
Below are some of the most common questions we get from new clients.
They are among our favorite websites to build! And speed and security are crucial when it comes to eCommerce sites. For each second the page takes to load, there is a 7% loss in conversion. And nearly half of users will abandon a website that takes longer than 3 seconds to load. We’re up on these things.
We specialize in conversion-focused sales funnels and design to impress. User experience is intuitive and all of our websites are mobile friendly. Read more about our ecommerce websites here: https://www.vegaswebsitedesigns.com/ecommerce/
Absolutely. We provide ongoing website support and maintenance for any website, whether we built it or not.
Ongoing maintenance is a critical component to keep your website running as smoothly and securely as the day it was launched.
We offer a reliable monthly support plan you can purchase with or without our hosting. The maintenance plan is $129/mo alone and includes:
Even if you prefer not to enroll in one of our monthly plans, website support can be purchased hourly. Development work on demand is available to any WordPress website and most PHP based websites.
The time it takes to produce a website depends on the size and complexity of your site and the amount of content that you have ready to go. A basic informational website typically takes around 3 months from discovery to live launch, whereas an ecommerce, membership or directory website can take closer to 5 months.
We can speed this process up by having all content ready to go, payment milestones made promptly, and timely feedback and revisions from the client.
Because more searches are conducted using a mobile device than a desktop computer these days, this is a standard practice in every website we build. We code in mobile friendly responsive design so your new website will be compatible on all modern smartphones, tablets and laptops.

No one knows your business the way you do, but sometimes your strengths are in business, not copy writing. We can help. This process will typically involve a research session so we know how to best represent your business in tone and accuracy.
While some of our work is charged hourly like one-off requests, most of our services are charged a flat rate for web design or monthly retainer for marketing. Our flat rates are determined at the onset of the project, and is based on our experience to cover the amount of time, costs and effort by our team necessary to deliver the promised solution.
This pricing structure gives us the flexibility needed to deliver our best work while remaining unconcerned with watching the clock so as not to rack up excessive billable hours or quench our creativity.
Flat rates are also beneficial since the price agreed upon is the price paid with nothing hidden. There is no need to quote every feature individually since the price quoted gives us budget to deliver the best solution possible with all the bells and whistles.
Yes.
Clients can be hesitant to disclose their budget, or might not have any idea what they should expect to spend with a digital agency. While we do want to make recommendations based upon your comfort zone, you should know that the results we can deliver depend on investment. Online marketing is competitive and takes effort to see a win. So the more flexible you are with your budget, the more aggressive we can be at gaining results.
It’s also important to keep in mind other costs that make up budget such as hosting, content creation, photography, videography, ongoing support, and other additional features.
The cost of a website will vary depending on factors, just like the cost of a car will vary. Factors such as logo creation, branding, copy writing, automation, time line, integrations, etc will dramatically affect the pricing of a website.
Our website projects generally start in the $3,000 range for informational sites, but can range up to $30k depending on the client’s needs. Payment milestones are pre-set and agreed upon in the contract stage and we are happy to be flexible.
Wondering how you can get several different quotes ranging thousands of dollars for the same project? Keep in mind you’re paying for the level of expertise. Are you getting a pre-built theme with an out-of-the-box design or a custom solution with an on-purpose sales funnel? Is someone simply building you a website or are you working with a consulting agency who can increase your online profits and generate a customer base? Here’s a great article that explains website prices in more detail: https://www.vegaswebsitedesigns.com/how-much-does-a-website-cost/

Yes, all of our web design projects include 90 minutes of content management system (CMS) training so you will feel comfortable knowing how to make changes to your own website. We are diligent to code every website as back-end user friendly as possible, with nearly every piece of content editable by you, the admin, so you won’t need to reach out to a developer every time you need something changed. We also install video tutorial manuals in the back end, custom to the features built on your website.
Additional training hours, sessions, or how-to documents can be purchased at $175/hr.
