Nevada NASA Programs is a division of Nevada System of Higher Education that informs students of news, events and funding opportunities related to NASA. They approached us to redesign their outdated site and combine content that was being used from two separate websites. They needed a modern, high tech website that brought renewed energy and interest to Nevada NASA Programs from the community. Our primary goal was to connect more students interested in participating in the growth of NASA research with these programs.

Our Approach
We utilized lead technology to promote Nevada NASA Programs’ website as a vital avenue in expanding Nevada’s STEM research and educational opportunities that help meet NASA’s mission.
We started with a visually striking custom design that immediately engages the user with a 3D asteroid effect. From there, our first call to action is to capture the readers’ attention to the happenings in the NASA Programs community and encourage them to sign up for the newsletter and ultimately to frequent the website. The back end development of this site has saved the staff significant time entering in news, events and funding opportunities. And it eliminates incomplete funding applications from students, thanks to the new form intake process. We wanted students to have a secure means in which to apply for funding and upload confidential documents all in one place, without ever leaving the website.
